Week 6 Blog

Preparing for the Literature Review Essay was not easy, I'm sure we have all come to that conclusion. Three things I have done to conduct this essay are; extensive research, annotations, and reading over twitter threads. Upon conducting extensive research, it did take quite some time and I am grateful for the amount of time we were given to find our desired species, it cannot be done overnight. In regard to annotating, the connect website was one of the most helpful assignment, it allowed for me to fully understand the reading that was assigned and how to structure the LR essay. As for the twitter threads, it was difficult sticking to just one animal species, but the more information found allowed for me to finally decide on bottlenose dolphins.

The LR draft was not my best work, I was facing some personal issues that did set ,me far back in this class up until yesterday, but nonetheless I prevailed. I do still need to fix some areas and definitely add more outside sources other than that of my big 3. I believe I met the objectives of the two paragraphs for each of my big 3.

For the SMC I plan on focusing in on dolphin captivity, for it resonates with my desired species.
