Looking back at this class, the two most transformative learning experiences that I have had are learning about the wonderful and amazing ways we can track intelligence amongst animals. Some things I have learned whilst attending this class are the ways in which social media is of great help to research. I would have never guessed that twitter would be of any help to my college courses ; to my surprise it was a platform that was essential to the course. The reading I conducted to prepare for my AP was extensive, I had to dig deep for what I wanted. A personal transformative action I seemed to have mastered are these blogs and communicating through social media. Two problem areas I noticed were time management and writing issues. A trait hoped to have learned but did not quite dominate is the power to have time efficiency, I struggle a lot with keeping track of assignments and learning when to set aside time for school. With work and responsibilities at home, sometimes I forget or do not have enough time for assignments, which I know needs to change. Another issue I have is starting out my writing assignments, I am very insecure about my writing and with that I tend to underestimate my abilities. It is almost if I struggle piecing together my work. Apathy does play a big part in my struggle and issue for writing. Usually when I am not entirely interested in a topic I do not put as much effort into the assignment. I am more fond of writing on behalf personal topics or even myself; yet I understand in order to be a proficient writer I need to be able to write in several different aspects. The connect practice lessons did help me with punctuation as well, it brought me down to reality and allowed me to see where I made common mistakes.
