This week on twitter I tried to veer in a completely different direction. I tried to mainly focus on canines and a small portion of felines. The majority of researchers and organizations I associated myself with this week worked hand in hand with the canine species as well as some felines. my attention has been drawn closer to canines because they're a species I work with on a daily basis. And as I have been working with them and doing research it is amazing to see all my knowledge come to life, or more so see it in action and be able to identify certain behaviors or do research when I get home. Whilst doing research, I came across an article on Cats and how they are not avoidant of strangers whom act negatively toward their owners, unlike canines who can show aggression and fear toward strangers who are mean to their owners. In this article I was able to imply that since cats weren't domesticated as early on as dogs, this plays no effect, but cats have been studied and proved to show some emotion. Moving on to blogs, I really enjoyed the synchronicity of the blogs I read. I enjoyed seeing the different perspectives and connections my peers made from the TIMES ARTICLES to the Bird Brain video.

Hi Itzia,
It is interesting that you made that connection about cats and dogs when they meet strangers who are mean to their owners. I would have though that cats would have the opposite reaction. I have seen a few cats of my friends who are very protective of their owners. About the blogs you read, I would suggest including the names of the blogs that you read.
